After a series of strategic planning workshops and several rigorous preparatory activities which started early last year, the NEDA Regional Office 02 has finally received the re-certification of its quality management system (QMS) to ISO 9001:2015.

This after AJA Registrars, Inc. conducted a two-day quality audit of the NEDA Region 2’s QMS on June 19-20, 2018. The auditors found the scope of the office’s QMS to be in full compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, and effective in fulfilling the mandates of the organization.

The office’s QMS has the following business scope: Development Planning and Policy Formulation and Monitoring, Investment Programming and Budgeting, Program and Project Monitoring and Evaluation, and Development Research. The effective operation of these processes is supported by four support processes, namely, data banking, resource management, finance, and quality workplace.

The office has just received the formal Registration Certificate for its re-certification with an effectivity date of July 5, 2018 up to July 5, 2021.

NEDA Region 2 has been certified against the standard of ISO 9001:2008 since 2012. It has successfully transitioned into the 2015 standard with this newly-acquired re-certification after having incorporated risk-based thinking and management into its QMS.
