In a virtual workshop led by NEDA2 Regional Director Dionisio C. Ledres, Jr., the NEDA2 finalized its updated vision, mission, core values and performance targets during its 2022 Strategic Planning Workshop held on February 09. With the updated vision, mission and core values, the five divisions of the agency presented their goals and objectives as well as key performance indicators for 2022 to 2030.
In his opening message, RD Ledres discussed the agency’s direction and priorities for the year. He emphasized the preparations needed in anticipation of the recovery efforts from the pandemic, changes brought about by the implementation of the Mandanas ruling, the proposed economic investment liberalization bills, the national and local elections, and the need for information systems that will speed up transactions and processes in the office.
Assistant RD Ferdinand P. Tumaliuan concluded the whole-day activity with an encouragement to the staff to continue to work together to achieving NEDA2’s goals and objectives. He asked that the teams sustain their work synergies for the rest of the year.
The NEDA2 will be conducting the second part of its strategic planning session on February 16 where a capability building session on technical and presentation skills culminates said planning endeavor.
