Assistant Regional Director Ferdinand P. Tumaliuan of NEDA Region 2 delivered the statement on the policy implications of the 2022 Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) estimates to regional development on April 27, 2023 at the Pulsar Premier Suites, Tuguegarao City. The News Conference was organized by the Philippine Statistics Authority Region 2.

In his message, ARD Tumaliuan said that the region’s high GRDP growth rate of 8.0 percent in 2022 proves that the calibrated policies, strategies, and programs have helped put the economy back to its high growth trajectory and on track to achieving the region’s long-term vision.

He encouraged all stakeholders to support the implementation of the Philippine Development Plan and the Cagayan Valley Regional Development Plan 2023 to 2028 toward achieving our shared goal of economic and social transformation for a prosperous, inclusive, and resilient society. #NEDA2-DRD
